Our mission is to establish the framework for the delivery of sustainable, high quality, licensed childcare for every Estes Valley child 6 weeks to pre-K that is affordable irrespective of their individual family’s financial status. This committee will be complete when a facility, program and staff are funded and in place to deliver this level of childcare within our community.

Given the completion of the Childcare Needs Assessment and detailed discussions with childcare operations in Colorado Association of Ski Towns (CAST) communities (of which Estes Park is a member), it was decided in June of 2018 to begin the transition of the Childcare Services Committee efforts which began in January 2017 from a committee under the EDC to a separate non-profit corporation.

After 18 months under the tutorage and support of the Estes Park Economic Development Corporation, Estes ECE, Inc has emerged as the 501(c)(3) continuing the Estes Park EDC Childcare Services Committee’s efforts to identify and develop solutions for high quality early childhood education center-based capacity within the Estes Valley.

Estes ECE, Inc’s mission is to:

·         Make high quality, family affordable Early Childhood Education (ECE) center-based programs available to all Estes Valley children ages 6 weeks to 5 year

·         Through these ECE programs, ensure our children are ready for kindergarten: socially, emotionally, cognitively and physically

·         As a result of our ECE programs, enable our school system to utilize their K-12 resources to educate rather than remediate
